Joints and Connections

The SPS system produces continuous pipe.  However, ends can be terminated and connections made to conventional pipe sections.

Connections are used in conventional pipeline systems to connect pipelines to fittings and other components, including:

• Flanges
• Valves
• Reducers
• Branch connections
• Elbows
• Bar T

Flange fitting is viable as a connection type as the ends of the SPS system can be directly welded to the flange piece. End fitting tests are in progress.
