SPS operates with a small, experienced core team directing an extended group of about 30 specialist engineers within different members of our supply chain.

DR ANDREW STEVENSON is a technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in developing new technologies for the oil and gas sector in the UK and USA. Initially a fracture mechanics specialist, he was involved in flexjoint development for Tension Leg Platforms and high temperature sealing systems and flexible pipes. He founded a successful business based on these and other developments and also a venture capital company.

DOUG EVERARD is an experienced commercial manager of energy-related projects, including power plants, large scale test and proving facilities and the commercialisation of new energy technology. He was the founding CEO of the UK Centre of Excellence for New and Renewable Energy.

AQEEL MALALLAH ABDULLAH – Business development director. Aqeel has had many years’ experience in the Oman foreign service and served for 5 years as Deputy Ambassador of Oman in London.

CHRISTOPHER MCCANN is non-executive director, was a Partner of Bridgepoint Capital; prior to which he was a banker. He graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Economics and is an FCA.

MEBS BOBAT – Engineering Manager. Mebs brings many years experience as a senior pipeline engineer and experienced project manager – most recently for Maersk Oil and Northern Oil in Qatar.

SUJI KURUNGODAN - Business Officer. Suji is the key strategist and passion driving the INSPIPE evolution. He is an inline inspection and pipeline integrity veteran with a highly successful career that spans over two decades with several ILI companies. In that time, he has acquired valuable ‘hands-on’ experience in pipeline general pigging, intelligent pigging and pipeline integrity management. He founded INSPIPE Integrity Ltd in 2019, an Integrity Solutions Integrator, delivering advanced pipeline inspection and integrity management services worldwide. He has a distinguished track record gained primarily in operations, project management, data analysis and strategic business development and he has an enviable reputation for driving growth by enhancing customer service quality.

CAROLINE JONES - Trade and Marketing Advisor. Caroline is working with Sustainable Pipelines to form a Hydrogen Advisory Pipeline Panel (HAPP) as part of the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s fuel switching programme award; supporting the development of our new technology for hydrogen fuel supply pipelines for industrial infrastructure. She is responsible for identifying opportunities for partnerships globally and general marketing activity.   Caroline previously worked for the Department of International Trade as the Energy sector lead in Oman, promoting trade and investment by helping the UK supply chain win export contracts and identifying opportunities for FDI and inward investment. Prior to that she worked in business development and executive search, working with government and commercial clients to effectively manage change within their organisations.
