Swedish steel visit SPS mobile factory trial at Spadeadam

SPS were delighted to welcome representatives from Swedish Steel (SSAB) on January 6th 2020 – who travelled from Sweden, Finland and Italy to see MASiP mobile factory, hear about progress and discuss future supply chain opportunities.  As a leading speciality steel supplier, SSAB has been working with SPS to provide the high strength, safety critical steel reinforcement.  SSAB gave a presentation on their latest products and discussions focussed on next steps for this innovative application. SSAB are working to use hydrogen in steel making processes and are committed to lighter, stronger and more sustainable steel solutions to the engineering problems of the future.
